The Ombudsman’s staff, including a Chief Investigation Officer and other colleagues, today (20 June) visited the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority (“MPFA”) to attend an exchange seminar. Our staff explained the functions and work of the Office and shared practical experience in handling complaints. We advocated maintaining a positive attitude in serving the public, pressing ahead at full steam with mediation and inter-departmental collaboration, optimising administrative workflow and raising the standard of public services. MPFA representatives also shared its newly launched online service platform and exchanged views on how to handle potential complaints. The seminar received overwhelming response with more than 60 participants.

The Office will remain steadfast in cultivating a positive complaint culture in all sectors of the community, driving collective efforts towards enhancing the quality of public administration.
