The Office of The Ombudsman organised the presentation ceremony of The Ombudsman’s Awards 2024 today (31 October). Six departments were commended this year. The winning organisations of the Award for Public Organisation are Hong Kong Fire Services Department (Grand Award), Social Welfare Department, Water Supplies Department while Housing Department received the Award on Mediation. The two newly introduced awards — the Customer Services Award and the Information Technology Application and Creativity Award, were won by Immigration Department and Hospital Authority, respectively. Additionally, 79 public officers were given the individual awards.
