Ombudsman and staff vaccinated against influenza to build immunity barrier

12 October 2026

Early vaccination is an effective way to prevent seasonal influenza and its complications. In support of the Government’s seasonal influenza vaccination programme, the Office today (12 October) arranged vaccination services for its staff. The Ombudsman, Mr Jack Chan, took the lead in motivating his staff members to receive the vaccine, and encouraged them and their families to take proactive steps against influenza, thereby safeguarding their health, as well as that of their loved ones and the wider community.

Ombudsman Chan said, “Committed to staff well-being, the Office has for the second time arranged on-site vaccination services, enabling colleagues to be vaccinated at the office. The initiative helps enhance staff awareness of influenza prevention, protect their health and that of their families, and build a strong immunity barrier to reduce the risk of influenza transmission.”
