The Ombudsman, Mr Jack Chan, will officiate at the 28th Presentation Ceremony of The Ombudsman’s Awards next Tuesday (18 November). Members of the press are cordially invited to cover this event. Details of the event are as follows:

Date: 18 November 2025 (Tuesday)
Time: 2:30pm – 5pm
Venue: Theatre 1 (Harbour Road Entrance), Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, 1 Expo Drive, Wan Chai

The Ombudsman’s Awards are presented to acknowledge outstanding professionalism in enhancing public services and handling public complaints. The Awards recognise government departments and public organisations that display an active and responsive attitude towards the Office’s investigations and mediation efforts.  Individual public officers will also be honoured at the Awards for their significant contributions to improving public administration. This year, the Office has introduced a new Team Award to commend teams demonstrating exceptional performances and strong collaborative spirit.

Please complete the attached reply slip and return it to the Office of The Ombudsman by email or fax on or before noon on 17 November (Monday) for registration.
