Following an earlier visit to the Hong Kong International Academy Against Corruption, The Ombudsman, Mr Jack Chan, today (27 January) led a group of colleagues to the Civil Service College (CSC) to meet with Mr Oscar Kwok, Head of CSC, and his team from the School of Professional Development to enhance understanding the work of CSC, its plans and major directions of development.

During the meeting, Ombudsman Chan and Mr Kwok exchanged views on promoting mediation and inter-departmental collaboration, fostering a positive attitude in handling complaints, and actively cultivating a constructive mindset among government departments and public organisations for the furtherance of good governance. Ombudsman Chan also shared his Office’s plan to establish a Hong Kong International Ombudsman Academy and explored with Mr Kwok the opportunities for future collaboration.
